This Imperial IPA was born out of a desire to reach the heights of bitterness often seen amongst its peers, but with a carefully balanced malt profile that allows it to be enjoyed rather than endured. This powerhouse of hops partakes of copious quantities of Zeus and Centennial, added for their clean and aromatic qualities, which have been painstakingly balanced against Caramel malt to produce a beer with a bright, clean bitterness against a caramel and toffee background which is deceptively smooth.
We love hops. They are every bit as important to us as the carefully chosen malts. Long Stride IPA is our testimony to that philosophy. We brew our Long Stride IPA to showcase the flavor and aroma of the hop varietals used, before imparting bitterness. We believe bitterness is a byproduct of healthy hop additions, but not an end unto itself. Therefore our IPA boldly expresses it's citrusy, floral, fruity and resinous aromas and flavors without searing your tongue with bitterness.
This American style stout is a paean to its predecessors. Developed to be a strong and simple stout, this darkest of beers uses a careful blend of roasted barley, caramel and chocolate malt, and flaked oats to produce a smooth and characteristic finish that is carefully offset by a mild addition of Mt. Hood and Cascade hops. Carefully designed, and methodically brewed, this beer lives up to its name.
Biscuity with hints of caramel and a creamy mouthfeel from the honey malt and Premium 2-Row. This beer has carefully crafted citrus and tropical notes, with a piney citrus character throughout and a slight bitterness for the finish.
The Storm Brown Ale is named after our very own Storm Brown. Without him, this recipe would have never reached its modern iteration. We are certainly glad that it did. This ale is distinctly American in its makeup, but is also reminiscent of British brown ales. The Storm Brown Ale is extremely complex with chocolates notes giving way subtle hints of caramel, nut and tobacco. An earnest hop schedule rounds out this deceptively drinkable ale and brings in a well measured bitterness. At 6.0 ABV, this beer is full bodied and flavored and heftier than most of his competitors.
Malt steals the show with this beer showing off caramel, toast, and biscuit character with very slight sweetness. The hops take a backseat but play and important role in balancing the malty profile of this beer. This smooth-drinking and satisfying ale will have you calling for another pint.
This Wheat balances Great Western Premium 2-Row malt and German Wheat malt to give it the distinct bready wheat flavor and color. This bright, golden ale is a summer quencher with a strong citrus backbone brought out by calculated additions of Centennial hops balanced with classic wheat yeast that brings out the “Hefe” in Hefeweizen.
A crisp, dry and clean golden lager with a hint of honey. We add just enough Northwest hops to round out the light malt profile. An easy drinking and memorable take on a sessionable classic, brewed with traditional Budejovice yeast and German Pilsner malt for a distinctive crispness.
